Zaelith Kron: Arcane Staff-Wielder in Black

Character Info

Name: Zaelith Kron Role: Wandering staff-maiden — part protector, part seeker of forgotten knowledge Weapon: Reinforced arcane staff, used for both combat and channeling Affiliation: Unaligned — formerly of the Veridian Order, now self-exiled

Lore

Zaelith was once a devoted acolyte of the Veridian Order, a sect that guarded the ancient ley-lines threading beneath Legarune’s surface. When the Order fell to corruption, she took her staff and walked away — not in anger, but in sorrow. She now drifts across the frontier, following faint echoes of the old paths and intervening where the balance is threatened.

Personality

Zaelith is calm, measured, and deliberate. She speaks only when she has something worth saying, and acts only when the moment demands it. Beneath her composure lies a deep empathy — she feels the weight of every place she visits and every person she encounters.

She is slow to trust, but fiercely loyal once that trust is earned. Her moral code is simple: protect what cannot protect itself, and never wield power recklessly. Those who travel with her often describe her presence as “the quiet before the storm breaks — reassuring, but never to be mistaken for weakness.”
