The hoverbike circuits of Legarune don’t follow clean tracks. They follow the terrain — and the terrain out past the city limits is the Shard Desert, a vast expanse of crystallized mineral deposits left behind by whatever cataclysm fractured the world in the first place. The pit lanes sit at the edge, semi-permanent installations that can be packed up and moved when the racing routes shift. The crews here work fast and improvise constantly; parts from one world’s manufacturer fit another’s machines only if you know the right tricks. The caravans that cross the desert carry not just supplies but information — news, rumors, and the occasional piece of technology too valuable or too dangerous to trust to digital channels.
