The Bound Network operates in the spaces between jurisdictions — the transit corridors, the border zones, the blind spots in surveillance networks. They move biotech, restricted AI modules, and military-grade components between city-states that officially don’t trade with each other.

Origin

The Network started as a group of courier pilots who discovered that the same routes used for legitimate freight could carry contraband without detection. Over time, the pilots became organised, and the organisation became a faction. They don’t have a headquarters — they have a network of safe houses, drop points, and relay stations spread across every major city-state.

Structure

The Network operates on a credit-and-favour system. There’s no central authority, no hierarchy, no org chart. Members are identified by mutual recognition — you know a Network operative by the way they move through a space, the way they check exits before they sit down, the way they never carry anything that can’t be abandoned in three seconds.
